Our Policies

We want you to be fully satisfied with the ShopRunner experience. Our policies define what you can expect from being a ShopRunner member. Once you sign up for ShopRunner, you accept our policies (including our Privacy Policy) as well as our Terms of Service.

General Overview

ShopRunner members are entitled to a suite of benefits to improve their on-line shopping experience by saving both time and money. ShopRunner members may invite up to 4 Household Members at no additional costs to share in these benefits.

Free 2-Day Shipping & Returns

ShopRunner members are entitled to FREE Two-Day shipping on all purchases of eligible items from participating retailers. Additionally, ShopRunner members receive Free Shipping on Returns of eligible items and exclusive offers from our participating retail partners.

Item Eligibility

On participating retailer sites, you will see the ShopRunner icon displayed next to all eligible items. This ShopRunner icon means the item is eligible for FREE 2-Day Shipping for ShopRunner members.

Minimum Purchase Amount

Some ShopRunner retailers may require a minimum purchase amount to qualify for ShopRunner benefits like Free 2-Day Shipping and Free Return Shipping. Any such minimum purchase amount will be indicated on the retailer’s website, and any such retailers and the applicable minimum purchase amount will be listed below.

The following retailers require a minimum purchase amount for free 2-day shipping and free returns eligibility:

Please note that this change does not change any other terms of membership. American Express® Card Members who currently enjoy complimentary membership will continue to do so as long as they have their American Express® Card in active status.

Shipping

  • "2-Day" Shipping means that the item(s) will arrive at the shipping address within 2 business days from the time it leaves a retailer's warehouse
  • ShopRunner ships to physical addresses in the contiguous United States. Most retailers* will ship ShopRunner eligible items to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico and the shipping will be free, but please note that some regions cannot be reached in 2 business days. If you have any questions about our service for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, please call 1.888.721.7467
  • Any shipment to a PO Box or APO/FPO/DPO address is excluded from the ShopRunner program.
  • Two-Day shipping is a term we use to determine your estimated delivery date (this term does not reflect product availability or order processing time);.
  • We may ship the products by ground or air at our discretion (these terms do not correspond to any carrier-branded shipping services);.
  • Our carriers usually do not pick-up or deliver packages on weekends or holidays.
  • We do not guarantee delivery of products within the estimated transit time or by the estimated delivery date.
  • If only some items in your order are eligible for ShopRunner, you will pay applicable shipping charges for the ineligible items.

*At checkout on a retailers site, you will be notified if your order cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico using ShopRunner.

Returns

For items shipped via ShopRunner we will provide you with a postage paid return label that can be used to send ShopRunner eligible items back to the retailer. In all cases ShopRunner members need to follow the retailer's return policies and instructions. If a particular retailer offers free shipping on returns we will direct you to return the ShopRunner eligible item through the retailer's standard process. To obtain your pre-paid return label simply sign in to the My Account section on www.shoprunner.com. Next to each eligible order there is a link to generate a pre-paid return label. Print the label, affix it to your return packaging and follow the rest of the retailer's return instructions. Please remember that only items shipped via ShopRunner are eligible for free returns. If you purchase a non-ShopRunner eligible item from a participating retailer or if you purchase items from any ShopRunner participating retailer prior to joining ShopRunner, you will not be able to obtain a pre-paid return label from us. Please note that ShopRunner free return service does not apply to Aeropost members.

Express Checkout

Participating retailers may choose to offer the ShopRunner Express Checkout service. ShopRunner members have the option of using our Express Checkout service, in which the members stored personal information is used to complete the forms process necessary to complete an order with a participating Retailer. Please see our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, for more details of how we use your information in connection with this Service. Please note, by submitting an order to a Retailer, you are entering into an agreement with that Retailer over which ShopRunner has no control, and you will be subject to the Retailer's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Do phone orders or purchases made in a partner's physical store qualify for the ShopRunner Program?

No. ShopRunner is only available for online purchases. Be sure to look for the ShopRunner logo next to an item. This logo means the item qualifies for FREE 2-Day Shipping.


Participating Stores

Retailers that are part of our ShopRunner programs can vary from time to time. To see a listing of retailers, visit our participating stores page. Be sure to check back often, since new stores are being added all the time. Not all retailers may participate in every ShopRunner program, for example, retailers that participate in our 2-Day Shipping program may not necessarily participate in our Express Checkout related programs. From time to time, ShopRunner may choose in its sole discretion to add or remove retailers or the programs that such retailers elect to participate in.


No Account Sharing

ShopRunner accounts are intended to be used only by the individual who registers the account. Sharing or otherwise allowing anyone other than your invited Household member access to your ShopRunner account is prohibited.


Personal Use Only, No Resellers

SHOPRUNNER IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR MEMBERS WHO PURCHASE PRODUCTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESALE OR USE SHOPRUNNER TO SHIP PRODUCTS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS OR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.


Trial Membership Cancellation

Trial memberships are limited to one per person. ShopRunner reserves the right to reject or terminate your trial membership at any time, for any reason. You can cancel your trial membership at any time.

Free Trial Memberships

Unless you notify us before the end of trial membership that you want to cancel your membership, your ShopRunner Trial membership will automatically convert to Paid Membership and you authorize us (without notice to you) to collect the applicable membership fee using any credit card we have on file for you. The membership fee will depend on the type of membership you select (i.e., annual or monthly).

Paid Memberships

You may cancel a Paid Membership either (i) effective at the end of your existing membership term or (ii) effective immediately. You will only be eligible for a refund if you cancel your Paid Membership effective immediately. Should you choose to do so within 45 days after your free trial period ends, you are eligible to receive a full refund of your paid annual membership. After the 45 days you will be eligible for a refund on a pro-rata basis, whereby you would receive a refund for the portion of your paid membership term that is after the date of your cancellation.

Monthly memberships, which may start with a free trial membership, will continue in effect unless and until you cancel your membership or we terminate it. You must cancel your membership before it renews each month in order to avoid billing of the next month's membership fees.

Promotional & Promotional Pre-Paid Memberships

From time to time we may offer memberships of varying duration including, but not limited to 1 month, 3 month or 6 month memberships. Generally, Free Trials are not offered with these products. As such, payment is required upon completion of the registration process.

At times Promotional Pre-paid Memberships may be offered through 3rd party partners who collect the payment directly from the customer (you) and provide a PIN (Personal Identification Number) which can be used to complete the registration process on www.shoprunner.com. Memberships purchased via 3rd parties that result in the delivery of a PIN number are non-refundable. ShopRunner does not pay cash rewards when inviting friends for Promotional or Free Memberships.


ShopRunner has partnered with Aeropost to offer free 2-day delivery and ShopRunner 1-year membership to Aeropost subscribers. Free returns are not included in this ShopRunner membership. Also please note that not all stores may be eligible for free shipping for this membership. For more details, please view ShopRunner Terms of Service.

How to Cancel

To cancel your membership, go to the My Account page on ShopRunner.com, or contact ShopRunner Member Services at 1.888.721.7467 (SHOP). To cancel your membership at the end of your existing membership term select “Cancel Membership”. To cancel your membership immediately, and process any refund owed to you, select “Cancel Membership” then select “Refund my existing term.” Please note, we cannot guarantee the processing of cancel requests through email.

Fees and Renewal

Only credit cards are eligible for payment of your ShopRunner membership. The ShopRunner membership fee is non-refundable except as expressly set forth in this document or the Terms of Service. Taxes may apply on either or both of the membership fee and the reduced shipping charges for ShopRunner.

UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US BEFORE RENEWAL THAT YOU WANT TO CANCEL, YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR SHOPRUNNER MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AND YOU AUTHORIZE US (WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU) TO COLLECT THE THEN-APPLICABLE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE, USING ANY CREDIT CARD THAT WE HAVE ON FILE FOR YOU. ALL FEES RELATED TO A RENEWAL OF A SHOPRUNNER MEMBERSHIP ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Memberships (Promotional or Promotional Pre-Paid) that may have been less than one year during the initial membership term will have a one year renewal term. For example, a 3-month promotional membership will convert into a 1 year membership at the conclusion of the 3-month promotional period. Renewal terms for monthly membership plans are one month at the then standard rate.

Termination by ShopRunner

We may terminate your ShopRunner membership at our discretion without notice. If we do so, we will give you a prorated refund based on the number of full months remaining in your membership for annual memberships and number of full days remaining in your membership for monthly memberships. However, we will not give any refund for termination related to conduct that we determine, in our discretion, violates these Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of the ShopRunner membership, or is harmful to our interests or another user. We may also terminate your account if we determine that fraudulent payment or address information was used during the sign up process, incomplete or invalid information was provided or the country of origin where the application emanated from has been identified as a prohibited country. To view a list of countries currently prohibited please see our FAQs. We reserve the right to add or remove countries from the list at anytime. Please note, ShopRunner only accepts US and Canadian billing addresses. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with these Policies will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.

Benefit Terms & Conditions


Enrolling in the Benefit.

To get the free ShopRunner membership benefit compliments of American Express (the "benefit"), you must go to www.shoprunner.com/americanexpress and verify your eligibility for the benefit with an eligible Card account number and then completing the sign up for a ShopRunner membership account ("ShopRunner account"). For details on how the ShopRunner membership works, please see the ShopRunner Terms and Conditions at https://www.shoprunner.com/terms/sr/ which govern the use of your ShopRunner membership benefit.

You may also be able to enroll in this benefit through access provided to ShopRunner at participating online stores or through an email provided by American Express if it has determined that you have an eligible Card.

An "eligible Card" means an American Express U.S. Consumer or Small Business credit or charge Card that is not cancelled and that is issued to you by a U.S. banking subsidiary of American Express. Prepaid cards and products, American Express Corporate Cards and American Express-branded cards or account numbers issued by other financial institutions are not eligible.

ShopRunner will verify with American Express the eligibility of your credit or charge card account number for the benefit.

Maintaining the Benefit.

To maintain this benefit on your ShopRunner account, you must maintain an eligible Card. The benefit may be cancelled on your ShopRunner account if you do not have an eligible Card. You can maintain only one benefit per eligible Card.

During your enrollment in the benefit, ShopRunner and American Express will verify your benefit eligibility.

Treatment of Existing ShopRunner Memberships.

If you enroll in the benefit and sign up with an existing ShopRunner account, ShopRunner will cancel the term of your existing ShopRunner account.

If you paid a fee for any unused portion of the cancelled term of membership, ShopRunner will provide you with a pro rata refund for that portion in accordance with ShopRunner’s refund policy. The refund will be processed within 2-4 weeks after enrollment and will be issued to the payment method you used to pay the fee.

If a portion of the cancelled term of membership was promotional or free, the free period will be cancelled by ShopRunner and forfeited by you. If you currently have a free or promotional membership on your ShopRunner account, you should consider whether to enroll in the benefit at this time.

General Terms.

An eligible Card can be used to verify eligibility for only one benefit enrollment. American Express may receive and use your personal data from ShopRunner, which may include personally identifiable information and credit card information, to determine eligibility and further develop features and services related to the benefit. American Express may send you emails regarding your enrollment in this benefit. Any information American Express collects from you or from ShopRunner shall be governed by the American Express Online Privacy Statement ( https://www.americanexpress.com/privacy ). American Express may change, modify, cancel, revoke, or terminate this benefit at any time.
